Please help identify this Hamilton...

We received this eMail question:

____________________________________________________

I have a Hamilton watch pictured below and wondered if you could me
identify the model. It's from the 1950s, I believe, and belonged to my
dad. Sorry for the poor quality. I couldn't seem to get a good focus so
close up. The band is from much later on.

Thank you.

Tim

Isn't it cool how the lugs seem to pierce the case and become the 1-5-7-11 markers? The automatic K-454 is the same way.

This model just sold on Ebay for $2500 and has sold for as much as $3750 in the past.

If buying a Sir Echo look carefully at the lugs - being somewhat weak they are often bent, twisted, and out of alignment - and showing evidence of previous repair.
