Clive DriscollFilling watch hands in vintage watches
I know that you can obtain commercial (glow in the dark) filler for filling in watch hands from material suppliers when the original substance has deteriorated.
But, here in the uk, these tend to be in just two colours, white and green.
I find that these colours are not always in keeping with what is needed for a vintage watch so I've been experimenting with alternatives.
I wonder if others have also experimented and would be interested to learn of any successes.

Dick GilbertHi Clive,
I've tried it but I found that any pigment strong enough to alter the colour also tended to block the luminescence. Maybe others have had better luck?
