hi all, I was going through an old bag of watches I have and found a 1970's vintage Orient Racer 27 jewel day date watch. I have no idea how to set the day date, any help here ? Thanks, Bill

Is it like a Seiko where you need to pull the stem out to the 2nd of 3 clicks? William

Bill, you can usually get that information by doing an online search for the make of watch. I have had good luck with all that I have done. Regards, Bruce

William, IT does not appear to be, it only seems to pull out the one click, to change the time ? Bruce, I have looked for a user manual online for this watch, and I could not find one, for the racer, but I am still looking. Thanks to both of you, I appreciate it, Bill

Peter, Thank you for your good info, there is a pin above the stem, and it does change the date, the stem when pulled will change the day. Thanks again, Bill
