Roy NewPerry Greaves?
Hi all.
I have a "Perry Greaves" in my collection, that I have been unable to find any information on the "Company" or date timepiece!

Thanks.
Roy.

Dave FreemanRoy,
it looks like a "generic Swiss movement", I'd guess from around the 60's/70's. Since the case is 9K, it's probably been made for the UK market. Also the brand name is unknown to me, I'd guess it may have been a "designer style of name " which was made specifically for a UK chain of jewelery/department stores.

"I just found your website by accident and saw a guy called Roy was trying to find out more information about a Perry Greaves Watch he had, this bog was from 2006…a long time ago!
But I also have a P.G. watch of my Father`s and it has the receipt on the box, Perry Greaves Ltd Birmingham & Solihull is no longer in existence, the address used to be 1 Corporation Street, Birmingham 2 Telephone 0216435479, they were members of The National Association of Goldsmiths and apparently made very good watches. My Father`s watch was a long-service award.
I know it`s a long time since the blog was posted but maybe this will help Roy.
Regards
Liz"
