Laco Wristwatch Information
Hi

Can anyone give me more information on this watch?
It is a Laco 17j Antimagnetic. Looking for year made and value.

Also do you think it would have been sold with a leather band on it?

Thanks for any info...

Hi Keith.

That is circa 1940s. Likely has a Swiss ebauche movement inside.

Lots in that period were sold with gold filled expansion bracelets, but not likely the one shown (the end piece should be straight, not curved -- the bracelet shown is for a round case).

The small 1940s are popular with some wristwatch collectors but usually only "name" brands, or some special watches, have much value.

According to the internet, Laco was founded in 1925. The name appears to have been resuscitated by a German company.
