The Glendale sold for $9,000. at the Jones and Horan auction 4-28-2013. It was a 19 jewel grade 979-sn 2908234 in a 14k yellow gold case. I do not remember ever seeing one--what say you////////

The Glendale is profoundly rare. Only 97 were made. There is ongoing debate about the dial. Is it an original one-off? It is unusual in design. The case is exquisite, to the degree that it looks like a woman's watch. It is remarkably small, even smaller than the Spur. With only 97 ever made so long ago, how many exist. I personally bought and sold a yellow one in the past, and I know where 3 or 4 others are. Quite a find, and a price reflecting it's precious status among Hamilton Collectors.
