Question about a Benrus "Click" to Login or Register
posted May 09, 2006 13:49
Here is a picture of one of my favorite Benrus Watches. The case is 14K Yellow and very well made by APEX. The case is very solid and not all "shelled out" like a lot of cases were on other manufactures. I have been wanting to add these photos to the thread for awhile, but just had the time.

Adam, Wow, I have never seen anything like this one. Beautiful!

I'm really facinated with all these watches, I didn't realize how beautiful a Benrus can be.

They sure made some unusual and fantastic watches!

mmmmmmmm

I may have to check what's available in the Benrus department now. Too nice to ignore after seeing what's out there.

I think your pink Benrus would look fine with either a link type metal band with a fold-over catch or an X type expansion band.

Stephanie & Sheila,

Thank you. Benrus made some beautiful and very well made watches. I have quite a few Benrus watches that the cases are very unusual. It seems that most of the unusual ones by Benrus are solid gold which is also nice. A very under appreciated watch if you ask me.

What a super looking "Benrus" Adam!

How would one describe those georgeous lugs? "Pinched scalloped rolled front curling to side horns?"

Date of manufacturer? Can one date by movement / calibre or case hallmarks?

Thanks for sharing.

Timely regards.

Roy.

OOOOHHH MMMYYY!
It gets better and better!

I started looking after I wrote in here the last time, and WOW are there some beautiful Benrus watches out there. Your right, they are under rated for sure.

I didn't pick one up yet, but I am looking.

I got a band for mine, but it was too big, I sized it wrong, but used it on another watch, so no loss. I got black, and I think it will look nice on mine.

Your watch is Fantastic.

Adam,
you've certainly got some great looking Benrus watches. Too bad more of these great looking watches don't show up in annual Watches Price Guide (hint Wink)

Here is another Benrus. My all time favorite. Took me a few months to get around to it, but here it is. Even has the original matching band.
