Sheila GilbertBecause these are together I'm posting the PW here too.
This is as close as I could get without distorting the immage.
The Pocket watch says:
ORIOSA POCKET WATCH HAS INSIDE
BUM caps again 002120 on one part of the movement and SU 3602 on another
I have asked about the wrist watch information and will post it when I get it.

John ArrowoodShelia,
Could that be GUM instead of BUM? I have a vague recollection that GUM was a government-run department store in the old USSR. Is all the printing in Roman/Western characters (English, etc) or Cyrllic? If the printing is Cyrllic, then the names may look a bit different when transliterated into Roman characters.

Tom HuberSheila, The pocket watch looks exactly like the modern 18J watches that are being marketed mfg by Molnija made in russia. They have a number of styles. This is the one marketed as their "railroad watch". I have one that was given to me as a gift several years ago. It is a decent low grade watch that keeps decent time, but is no RR grade watch. These marketed for about $50 several years ago.
