Members may like to know that a Hamilton Electric Railroad Special watch has, over a continuous test period of more than 18 months,(561 days), gained a total of 4616 seconds. This is an average gain of 8.2 secs/day - better initial regulation would have improved this figure. The watch was in one constant dial-up position on my desk. Dan.

Humm. If my calculations are correct, the watch gained a total of 57.4 seconds in a 7 day period, and railroad standard was 30+- seconds per week. Wouldn't take much of a tweaking of the regulator to put that one to standard, and it might have averaged out if the watch was changed in position when timed. Nice watch!!! Regards! Mark
