odd escapement "Click" to Login or Register
posted
Brittens says this fellow Sam Smith made "several of these" and pateneted them in 1812. I have not seen one ever. Called a "Vertical 5 toothed escapement"

Odd duck ticks one second like a dead seconds chronograph.

Very cool. The balance cock has a five spoked kind of design too.

Weird. On the auction blcok next week.
