I picked up a cheap elgin this weekend 1950's vintage. It's got a 17 jewel shock resistent movement. I cannot for the life of me see why the case is market water resistent. The crystal is thick and heavy with a white foam gasket. No case tube or anything else to protect the movement. I'm guessing you can fill me in on what is missing or altered! Michael | |||
