Unless of great sentimental value I would leave it as is, I have a draw full of these, of many makes. Not this is a old PW movement put in a later case to use up the old movements as such no shock resistance, so you could invest in it s repair and the next day be back again! although these small ones are tough.

That is what I suspected and it does not have family sentiments at all. So back in the box she goes....!
