Accutron, Waltham, Gruen examples. Comments sought more photos Gruen
I just picked up a fairly nice Bulova Accutron and had a battery installed. It is running nicely. The guy who installed the battery said it is a #2182. I always seek comments and I know NOTHING of wristwatches. Is there anything in this group worth any serious consideration. I will probably offer them for sale here on 185 but have no idea as to what to ask as a starting bid.

And a Benrus #7001 I've been wearing the Benrus for about 24 hours and it keeps good time. The Waltham runs, and one of the Gruens runs as well.

Hey Mike, I'd be interested in the Waltham, but I gotta say I don't think any of those watches have a lot of value. There are usually plenty of those kind of wristwatches for sale on Ebay,so check there to see what they are going for.

Ray, I thought so too. I'm going to put a band on it and sell it I think. It just appears to be a nice watch, and, it looks good.

The 12/24 wind up Gruen is very nice. I believe this model is called the "Pan American" and is highly sought by Gruen collectors.

Hey Mike, With that extra gear in the train, could that be a stopwatch,or timer I think they called them. Does the second hand stop when the crown is pulled out?

Don't know Cecil. The watch doesn't really run at this moment due to a stem problem. I don't want to pay to get it fixed unless it has some decent value. BTW, I'm on the road but my wife said your envelope arrived.

The extra gear is to run the center seconds hand.
