John ArrowoodI once had a Hamilton-Illinois ww which had a 17-j Swiss movement. I think the watches may have been a second line for Hamilton, maybe not as expensive as a Hamilton with a made in USA movement. Mine had a rolled gold plated bezel with a stainless back. I sold it here on the items for sale page and it sat there a good while before there was any interest. I suspect the watches date from the 1950-1960's, not the time when Hamilton bought Illinois.

Anthony CrisciI have one as well but I cannot say I have
seen many at all. An autowind signed
Hamilton Illinois on its rotor and stainless steel back.
Cannot remember more then that right now
I will try and find it and shoot some photos.

Cort MooreDaniel,
Nice watch! Great condition dial too. I am curious what import code letters are on the balance cock?
Thanks for posting.
