David, A picture  might help. Closest name I can think of is "LORUS" as they not only made character watches for Disney such as the "Goofy" you see below, but various other watches as well. Lindell   | |||

Picture David will tell 1000 words if posible. Lorie isn't a mainstream brand I'm familiar with, nor is it particularly old, but I'm not an expert. | |||

This watch was manufactured 1939 or before. It is inscribed with that date. It was given as a present at that time. This is the best that I can do for a picture at this time. .jpg) | |||
