A ladies Bulova. 14K case is dated 1924, Movement is 5AP, 15 J, with a # 11630. It has a clear plastic like cover over the back side of the movement. I would think its older than 1950??

D'oh, forgot to add this picture to my slightly flippant Homer Simsonism above, and now I can't edit it!

I'm wearing pretty much the exact rose gold Lord Elgin driver watch that bill's just posted, only a grubber dial and with a leather strap.

Steve,
The band on the Elgin driver is a really neat one, but it just about takes two people to do the latch on it. No danger of it opening up and falling off.
Neat little watch.

This is a Waltham model 1891 seaside "0" size 11 Jewel 1893 vintage wristwatch in excellent running condition. My wife loves to wear the watch for "special" times. Also because our jeweler told her it was all solid gold or Gold filled with Black Sapphires in the 19th century expansion band. I like it because it is very special and clearly kept in first class condition over its 117 year lifetime

Ok David, you have my vote for the nicest Ladies wristwatch.

Hi, I have what looks like a brand new dial identical to Wayne Hanleys' Elgin Star Sterling. I can't remember how I got it but have had it for a long time. It has mounting pins at the 11, 38 and 55 minute marks and is 26.5mm in diameter.
Looks like there were pins at the 3 and 9 oclock marks that were removed. If this is a redone dial it was a really pro job. If anyone is intrested let me know. Mike

Nice looking watches, Werner. Very nice dials on the IWC watches. The Laco could be a pocket watch. Its huge.
Thanks
