What do you think of my Longines wrist watch? "Click" to Login or Register

I got it a few days ago from my friend at an antique market, It is in great condition except for a mark on the dial properly caused by someone forcing the dial in causing the foot to push upwards damaging the dial. I got it for R2900 ($280) and I think it was made around 1946.

Could anyone give me some more info on the watch?

Francesco, looks like it was made in 1947 according to the serial number, but depending on whose Longines serial number chart you use. Big Grin

I like that dial, numerals and markers. Appears to have big jewels.
Very nice, thanks for posting.
