Hi All

Need help with information on this watch. Wakmann 17 jewel incabloc chronograph rotating bezel. What year was it made, common or uncommon, type of movement.

Any help would be great.

Thanks
Keith

ps what does Incabloc mean? Yes the sweep chronograph second hand is more pink than red.

The small numbers below the Swiss Made are:

314 13

The watch does wind, set, run and keeps time great!

movement picture will help, usually the caliber is
stemp under balance wheel
as those came with many different movement
looks like late 1950s model
Incabloc=shock protection for staff so will not break so easy as on pocket watches
check the picture

Thanks Peter for the info.

Do not have the correct tool to open wristwatch. I am a Pocket watch collector normally.

Any stab at price range?

Normally you woul need an opener to open it but there is a trick... try use small rubber ball, just press against back and turn. You cant go wrong with it because if you use to much force it will loose contakt with back so no damage to case. Most watches cant resist rubber ball Smile

Thanks Rafal

I did take to my favorite jeweler and he opened it.
It has a valjoux 7736 movement, but did not get serial number. I am still looking for more information on the watch like age.

Any help

Keith

Hi
Google ranfft bidfun
You'll get the auction site
In the search put Valjoux 7736
It lists a couple and the price they went for at the auction time
The two listed I saw were 69-70's
With a wide range in the price I guess depending on the finish etc
