I have always been thinking this watch as a nice item with a very nice dial...do you think this is a re-dial and if you think it is or not why do you think so? How can you see that it´s one way or another? ![]() ![]() Bernhard "the swede" ![]() | ||

I'm sure those who know more than I will weigh-in on this. However, that dial looks correct to me. I personally like black dials a lot and Omegas are all great watches. That is a really beautiful example of a great watch. Is the case gold or gold-filled on this one? Examine the dial under great magnification. Usually a redone black dial will show slight dust under the color or the final clear coating. Also, you will usually see the clear is over rather than under the markers on this particular style of dial when re-done. A final point re-finished dials often lack the "Swiss-Made" which is very clear on your example. Hope this helps! Lindell ![]() | |||
