Help Identifying Movement
Hi all,
A friend of mine was dealing with his mothers estate when he found a small 18K ladies wrist watch. I have attached a photo of the movement. It is marked 5 Adjustments, 17 Jewels and Swiss made. Does anyone recognise or have any ideas as to the maker of this watch? There are no identifying marks on the case other than 18K and about 15 service numbers scratched from previous watchmakers.
Thanks in advance for your help.
Cheers
Geoff

The layout looks like a Movado, though there are others with similar form.

The best way to identify wrist watch movements is to remove the dial and compare it to the Bestfit book.

Hi Sorry about the delay in posting, but here is a photo of under the dial. No obvious markings I can see. What is the 'Bestfit' book you mention Eugene? Sorry, I normally only work with pocket watches.
Cheers
