Hello Again, My youngest Daughter has a wristwatch Tag Huer Quartz new in 2002. Had new battery fitted by Reputable Jewellery Store ran for two days now they say it needs Servicing and will cost £55 without waterproof guarantee or £100 with. What do you experts advise. By the way it is now running again after they looked at it to test battery. HELP. Ged. PS £100= $189 today

My suggestion...get her a nice old mechanical!

I know you posted ages ago but I noticed you quoted prices in £'s so presumed you were in the UK?
Anyway. If you require the watch to be serviced in the future, we would charge you £65.00 including water-resistance testing or if it was a cell only £20.00 including testing. (plus return P&P) Contact me if I can be of help.
