yup I got once one from goodwill for 3.99
and after cleaning sold for 300 but not that lucky.

That's quite a story. Peter and I went to the Brass Armadillo several years ago but we never found that much of a bargain. We should have gone to Goodwill!

I got a Jaeger LeCoultre Memovox for $10 from a thrift store once. I was so excited as I drove away that I ran a red light! My other fantastic thrift store find was a Heuer 1000 Pro Quartz, mint, only with a replacement movement. Paid $5 for that puppy. If the dial had said "Tag Heuer" it probably would never have seen the light of day.
