14K LONGINES TWO TONE GOLD
This is one I promised Lindel I would show on the site as a before and after. I got this watch at the Dearborn show. The case is 14K pink and green gold. I started the restoration with getting the movement (9L) running and then went to the case and started its restoration. The case is 48mm long measured lug to lug. The lugs are movable and mounted to the green gold portion of the case. As you will see by the pictures the dial will have to be re-finished and I will send it out after I am sure the movement is keeping time on the bench. When the dial and hands are done I will show a full series of pictures.

Nice watch, Rich! Smile

I noticed the male lugs - how difficult is it to find female spring bars?

Very nice Rich. At the regional, I got to see the "before" in hand and must say your pictures give a very accurate portrayal. The restored case looks spectacular, and when the dial and hands are redone, this Longines is going to be a knockout. Smile

Best Regards,

At long last I got the dial done. A BIG thank you to Samie Smith for sending me the female spring bars. I will wear this one to the National.

Rich,

Very nice watch. Love the 2 tones. I was looking for you at the regional, but didnt see you. I happened to pick one of these up, not too long after you originally posted your pictures, with a slightly different dial. I have only seen four of these. Three of them had slightly different dials which I thought was odd and 3 of the 4 were located in North/Northeast Ohio, which I also thought was strange. Anyway....GREAT WATCH!

Rich, that is a beauty!

Longines are one of my favorite manufactor's.

I see it is calibre 9L, whats the date?

I will have to agree with you, "certainly one to keep!"

Keep up the super work!

Timely regards.

Roy.

"So mote it be!"
