Benrus circa 1950
Yesterday I opened my fathers Benrus 3 star wrist watch. CD 1, 17j, Swiss, Selfwinding, Shock Absorbed, Bidynator. Marked #675, AXZ. Star Watch Case Co, #9728927 10K gold filled stainless back.

The crown is missing. Does anyone have any info on it? Not much on the web.

I wonder if it is worth repairing?

I am having trouble posting pics. size over limit. I will keep trying. I do have pics on watchuseek, under vintage watches.

under the balance wheel should be some manufacturing marking, its not that hard to get new stem and crown for it.
