I have just purchased a few vintage watches.One of them is named aro and below that is ancre 15 jewels.It has a golden face and sub dial at 6.I tried googling aro but got nothing.Can anyone hepl me identify aro please? and what does ancre mean | |||

Michael I believe the word ancre means it has a lever escapement. If you could post some photos it might help identify the watch. Tom | |||
