Illinois Stuart or Bunn?
Looking up this serial number 64360 in the Illinois "Bible" (volume 2 American pocket watches, Meggers/Ehrhardt) the data shows that this should be a Bunn grade and it is obviously a Stuart. Wasn't this early data taken from factory records? Are they still available somewhere to see if they were transcribed incorrectly or if the movement was mismarked?

Mike-
My info shows both Stuart and Bunn in this serial range, with 1543 Stuarts and 422 Bunns made.

Bob

Thanks Bob, The Illinois book breaks down data into serial number ranges for each grade, and mine falls into a Bunn range so I was curious about that.
