"Illinois Dial Foot Position Chart"
Here we have a nice "Dial Foot Position Chart" that will be very helpful.

Group "A", includes Models 6, 7, 9, 10, 11, 14, ----Grades 161, 163, 167, 169)

Note: This chart depicts the dial feet positions as if they projected through the dial front.

Robert,
I found that if you have a film positive made
of your dial diagram and turn the film positive over so it reads
wrong and then place your dial back side to the positive you
get quick indentifcation. At least this has worked for me.

Clarification...place backside of the dial
behind film postive diagram positionig the
dial feet and and dial holes in correct position.

Thanks Robert for your reply.

In case you may want to know where to have
a film postive made. Go to a printing trade
shop that makes film for printing companies
and ask for a fllm positive to be made. Its best
to have the your original copy the same size as the dials
you want to compare. I have for years carried these
with me at regionals and chapter marts. It save me
a lot of time. Let me know if you are having difficulty
have a film positive made.

Hello Bernie,

The image below depicts the dial foot positions as viewed from backside of dial, as you described in your post, but composed a little different. Thank you very much for your suggestions.
