I was picking out a nice screw back hunter case by Fayes for a Bunn Special model 8 movement.

I went through the removal of the existing Hunter movement a 17 jewel.

I found that the slot for the lever set is not going to line up. The two movements have the lever located in the 4, 5 oclock poition, I had assumed these Hunters and the Hunter Cases were all alike.

I perhaps can cut the bezel a second slot, but how hard is finding the proper one? Why are these differences?
