I bought this on flea bay. I know that straight line Illinois dials where being phased out 1915 to 1916. My question is was arrows out dials found as early as 1915.

It cost a pretty penny.

I would have paid it had I seen it on eBay.

Ordinarily the red afternoon numbers appeal to me but this one looks great in all black.

It almost looks like a dial for a 17 size Sangamo special. Can you face it up to a 16 size dial and see if it's a little bit bigger?
