Anyone have info on this dial? The movement says "The Elite" #3019887. Sorry for the bad pic, I am new.
No great value to this, but that face!
Did the design have any meaning or significance?
What material is it made of?
Cleaning method?
Thanks
Mike

Just a fancy metal "dress" dial.

Cleaning a metal dial such as this which is painted with an enamel paint usually will end as a disaster !! You can't put pressure on it like with a rag or swab or use any kind of cleaners. If you can remove the dial, lightly let it soak in dish washing liquid and rinse with lukewarm water and blow dry with a hairdryer. That's the very best you are going to do as anything else and you are going to destroy paint and painted numerals.

regards,
bb
