Another nice win. The Fat Book only discusses the HC version for valuation.

This watch S/N1678679 (1 of 1,310 according to the Illinois data base) arrived in running condition (way over due for a full COA) with what I believe to be all original dial and case. The case is a really cool 3 hinge. I love the tight lever slot...

The dial has a minor repair near the 7 and a hair line at the lever... but, considering how hard these dials are to find and land... I'm pretty happy with this one for the price.

Sorry about the picks, the two-tone checker board looks a lot better than my camera is able to pick up. I might try to upgrade the photo's later if I can find the right light and angle to shoot it from.

The dial, hands and case appear to be in harmony with the 1903 production date.

I'm moving this topic to the Illinois forum, which is where it belongs.

Here's a close sibling of Paul's watch. It has the bushed barrel pivot as well.

Here's an earlier watch, only marked adjusted. Note the staked barrel pivot, I assume to close a worn pivot hole.
