In order to have a place for posting pictures until the IHC website is online the " Timekeepers Photo Gallery " Topic area will be used for members to post photographs of their collections , try to start a new thread for each set of pictures so members may comment underneath them.

We are trying to maintain some order by posting photographs under watch and clock maker names or members names.

To post a photo of your Timepiece:

1. Go to "Timekeepers Photo Gallery" Topic

2. Click on topic name where you want your photo posted ( ie: Waltham , Hamilton , Elgin , etc.) or start a new topic if desired.

3. Click on post reply button at top of page

4. In the Subject field enter your basic item description ( enter more detailed info on the item in the message field later)

5. Click on Image button at bottom of page then enter your photo url ( location/http address where photo is stored ) Click Image again to enter each additional photo , example :

http://www.members.aol.com/irjimw2/big1.jpg

a. the http://www.members.aol.com points to the AOL server where this photo is stored.

b. irjimw2 is a user name at AOL

c. big1.jpg is the photo file name

(the program will format the url codes for you when using the image button)

you may enter more info or photo credits below the photo url links

6. Click post now to finish

Please note this is a locked Topic , post any questions or comments under discussion forum.

if you have problems please E-mail jwallace@fpsys.comfor help
