Accidentally Preserved: "The House of Wonders" (1931) - the Elgin Watch Company

Thanks, Patrick! A minor - non-watch aside - I grew up in a household in which the refrigerator door had those kinds of hinges and latch. When my parents finally replaced it in 1970, one of the coils broke while dad was hauling it across the yard wit a hand truck. He had to be hospitalized because he accidentally inhaled a tiny whiff of the hydrogen sulfide coolant. In the lungs, it combines with water vapor to form sulfuric acid. H2S + H20 => H2SO4. (and I realize the equation is not balanced)
