While trying to find simple conversion formulas for Lancashire, lignes, mm and decimal I ran into this site.
In your browser type Horological math conversions. When you get there click on
Martindale's Calculators On-Line Center: Mechanical ...
Drag Function Conversion Calculator; Maximum Distance Calculator; Modified ... Horology - Watchmaking and Clockmaking. HOROLOGY DICTIONARIES & GLOSSARIES
www.martindalecenter.com/Calculators4_2_Mech.html - Cached
There is more information on this site about Horology than there is in any book I have purchased especially the Time Zone School info. There is a printable 56 page manual for general horology that is one of the best and easy to understand that I have ever run across.
ENJOY
Patrick
