Edward L. Parsons, Jr.Here is some more info I found on the web:
Boston & Maine 4-4-0 no. 494 is on display next to the Amtrak depot in White River Junction, Vermont. Originally built for passenger service, this 1891-vintage engine last ran in the 1930's, hauling coal for the Mount Washington Cog Railway in New Hampshire. After retirement, the Boston & Maine had her cosmetically restored to her original appearance to take part in the 1939 World's Fair. After many years on display at White River Junction, she is now once again undergoing cosmetic restoration. The pilot beam is being rebuilt in this July, 1999 photo.
