I just picked up a neat little Urgos Art Decco clock on Ebay. It has a platform escapement and presently the balance staff is broken. Does anyone know where I might have the escapement repaired? I don't do balance staffs  Joe  | |||

Hi Joe, you probaly know this but i thought it might be of help.In Merritt,s catalog there are complete escapements and the balances for Urgos clocks.Prices are not bad either. Hope this helps.  | ||||

Thanks Kevin, The ones they have are for fairly recent movements. My movement is was made in 1958. I will eventually find someone to make a new staff for it. Thanks again, Joe | ||||
