A friend of mine has just obtained a Lauffler Mantel Clock. When he peeked in the backH noticed it lacked a pendulum! He is looking for a new old stock replacement. Any suggestions?

Orion, I think that name is the seller or distributer, not the maker. You would need to find a makers name on the movement. Post a picture here of the movement and someone may be able to identify it if it's not marked. I did a couple of websearches and didn't find anything like it.

So many clocks, so little time.

The only info I have at the moment is that "12 cm" is stamped into the movement on the bottom right hand side. I will have to wait a week or so before I can get it out of the case and maybe post some images!
