Replacing damaged paper faces "Click" to Login or Register
posted
I am a graphic artist. It would be easy for me to recreate paper faces on clocks that have damaged ones. Would that alter the value of the clock negatively? They would look better but they wouldn't be authentic. I have no idea what that could do to the resale value. I'm thinking a collector would not want that.

Hi Dale
Good question, but subjective, originality value is often discussed here. Opinions, like pricing can be all over the place Smile
I see paper dials for $1 at suppliers, see link
