I overhauled an Urgos 32328. The 2nd, 3rd, and 4th qtr chimes are fine. But strangely, 1st quarter doesn't have adequate lift to warn the chime! I can cheat and force more lift or even readjust the chime locking lever to reduce the lock, (this movement has internal chime locking levers). But, I would think if 2nd through 4th have adequate lift, 1st quarter should be OK also. Any thoughts? As always, your comments are appreciated. Bill

Bill, Measure the distance from the center shaft to the tip of the star on 1st, 2nd & 3rd quarters then compare. Could be just worn down. You could repair it by planishing the 1st qtr point a bit to stretch it.
