There have been so many glorious and beautiful watches and clocks shown here that I felt it was time for some rather mundane but still fun items.

I picked up this and 14 other electric and mechanical alarm and shelf clocks the other day in one lot at an auction. If you are interested I will post pics as I get them of the others as well.

The Jefferson Intermezzo Cordless Electric Clock was powered by a spring but the spring is rewind periodically by batteries. Every couple of minutes you hear a little "clunk" when the solenoids make contact and rewind the spring. It was made in the early 1960's.
