Minerva was a small watch company in Switzerland. The watches were built by elves. This particular watch is the Minerva Heritage chrono. It was made in 1999 with old Venus c175 column wheel movements. These movements were made from about 1940 to the early 60's. During the quartz revolution many mechanical movements were shelved and the tooling destroyed. Minerva managed to get hold of only 97 of these Venus movements to use in this limited production watch. Horology is about all watches, and this is a unique piece of modern watchmaking with it's heart and soul conceived over 60 years ago.
