Elgin 16-size grade 243
Yes, that's right, I do own a few "big" watches. Elgin's grade 243 (or 246 in OF) is one of those that you just have to hang on to when you get one. It has a gold train with rounded and polished spokes, gold jewel settings, rich red ruby jewels, steel escape wheel, gold inlaid engraving and a double-sunk glass enamel dial. At the time (ca. 1904) the only better movements were the 21j models.
