While we are looking at cases, I thought I would show this one. Not particularly artistic, but unusual because it is a 12-size case. The sterling swing-ring case is made by the Illinois Watch Case Co. and is marked inside with the Waltham name and logo (eagle holding watch).

Jerry T.,

Your watch case is very pretty. What I like is the sterling/copper contrast of color. Nice shot too.

Thank you for the compliments. The primary inlay is rose gold (which gets its reddish hue from copper in the alloy), but there is also one small leaf cluster of yellow or green gold (not sure which at the moment). I have one other inlaid silver case (not a train) that has three colors of gold.
