Better scan of model 1892 18S Waltham D&RG MOvement. Phil Dellinger NAWCC# 157070 IHC Member #140
Lindell, D&RG stands for Denver & Rio Grand RR. The attachments were very easy to load, although the first time I tried them the file size was way too large. This site is very user friendly and has helped me to learn a lot about horology. Thanks and regards, Phil Phil Dellinger NAWCC# 157070 IHC Member #140
Phil, Great pics of one of my favorite 92's. Thanks for sharing. Rhett (Railroad Marked Freak)
The following pictures were taken with the Nikon 4500 camera. The previous picture was taken with a flatbed scanner. I think the camera gives a softer picture to look at.

Bravo!! like it all....... the gilded trim also helps...
My Waltham, model 1892 pocket watch, was named for the D&RG RR. I have added 3 photos of locomotives that were on the D&RG RR Line. This 1943 photo shows D&RGW locomotive #105 in the rail yards of Salt Lake City, Utah. (The "W" in D&RGW stands for Western)

Phil: When I attended the National in Chicago back in 1992, I met a real character named "Hobo Joe" who at that time was the King of the Hoboes he gave me a ticket for a free bowl of Mulligan Stew along with these two postcards. Buchaneer

Life on the Main Line She blowed for the crossings and sanded the rail, Due at the switch for the east bound mail, While down in the jungle, two hobos lay. One scrambled quickly to his feet And bummed four bits on which to eat. He swapped his coins for dago red And deprived himself of his daily bread. by Hobo Joe
Larry, Thanks for the interesting information and pictures that you have added to this topic.
Larry, Hobo Joe was quite the charactor and was a regular at many of the larger regionals during the 90's. If you caught him at the right time, you could even get a nice watch bought from time to time. I bought a nice 23J Sangamo Special marked 60hr from him at the Orlando show one year.
