I bought this quite recently from a well known auction site in the UK. You don`t get the wide selections of Walthams when buying in the UK but you do save on import taxes.
I think about 2500 of these models were made compared to 1000 `92` "Canadian Railway Time Service" , both 2 star movements, & yet the CPR commands the higher price ?
Movement damaskeening looks very similar to the Appleton Tracy model but that beaver logo makes a huge diffence to value. Its running to within 1 or 2 seconds a day.
