Sperry & Shaw Shelf Clock
This Sperry & Shaw clock has a 21 1/2" X 13" mahogany veneer case and a 30 hr time/strike weight driven movement. The two things I like about this clock is its small size and the lower glass tablet which is very unusual, original to the clock and untouched.

Henry Sperry & James Shaw produced clocks from 1844 to 1851. They produced OG clocks and appearently were direct competitors of Chauncey Jerome after Jerome started exporting clocks to England.

Finally, the movement & label (10 Cortlandt Street, New York) The weights for this clock are the small square weights and not the more common 3 1/2# round weights used with the larger OG clocks.
