I believe this Atkins & Porter Steeple was the actual clock featured in the December 1989 NAWCC Bulletin #236, page 539. In the case was a small slip of paper with the bulletin # and page. This clock was included in a collection of steeples I bought a couple years ago. The lower tablet is original and untouched.

Merritt W. Atkins and Henry H. Porter were in business between 1840 to 1846.
