Watch Tools? "Click" to Login or Register

I found these tools along with some watch sized broaches in an old watchmakers bench. The wheels are from .082" to .143" in diameter. One has wheels on both ends.
If they are, in fact, watch tools can someone tell me what they are for and how they are used?

Thanks for looking,

Joe

Hi Joe
They look like "disc-type countersinks", used to countersink the bevel of a jewel setting.

Good evening,

These are countersinks. One ends disk will have a sharp edge and is used to cut the sink. The other end is rounded (burnisher)and is used to put a finish in the counter sunk area.

Very easy tool to use with good results.
