Who Made These?
I picked up these two wooden counters and was wondering who made them, and what were they used for? They go from 1-100, and the only markings I find are E.G and Bte. Any ideas?
Thanks,
Brian C.

Picture #2. They measure about 2 3/4 inches across.

What does the back side look like Brian....What do you mean when you say they are "Wooden Counters"...?

Because of the two arms I would say you could probably go as high as 999...

On first looksee, I have no clue as to what they are....

Jerry

Brian, it is a point counter device for the French card game of piquet. See the following URL:

You can Google 'Piquet' and Wikipedia has a gooddescription of the game itself.

Best,
Mike
