Jerry Treiman mentioned this book to me in one of his posts,I managed to find a copy of it this weekend, what a great book, not only does it cover the history of Swiss watches, but it also ties in very nicely the interaction, skill, learning, and trade of the swiss makers with the rest of the watch world.

If you have not read this book I would recommend it highly.
